Just a quick update.

I’ve added an SSD hat to my server. I run all my servers (Music, Video, Audiobook, E-Book, Radio, WordPress) off of a Raspberry Pi 5 with 8gb ram. We’re now have 2 terabytes of storage on a NVME SSD, instead of running on a 128gb SD card. It’s harder to backup my system, but worth it.

I always meant to mention that I reboot this server A LOT. Those of you who might be listening to TekDiff should know that every time I reboot, Icecast starts over from the beginning. There’s nothing I can do about it, Icecast is very old.

Also I having issue with Comcast/Xfinity. As my internet provider, they haven’t complained about my servers, but their service is really starting to go down hill, plus I’m paying $300USD a month for internet and 30 cable channels we don’t watch. I’m thinking of moving the Frontier FiberOptic, but I am worried that they will throttle my internet because of my servers. Any advice would be welcome, leave a comment below.
